Fair Hourly Wages

Based on your abilities, productivity & continued education. 

Health Insurance Benefits

After 60 days of continuous employment, company pays for 100% of single premium.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Monthly company match of $50 max. with employee health insurance and HSA participation.

Voluntary Benefits - Dental, Life Ins., Disability, Etc.

After 6 months of continuous employment. Available for sign-up at Annual Meeting

Uniforms/Jackets

Are supplied to all Employee/Owners at no cost.

Sick Leave

A total of 48 hours annually after two years of employment.

Funeral Leave Benefit

One day's paid leave of absence for the death of an immediate family member after one year of employment.

Vehicle Benefit

Company use of a vehicle after reaching Foreman status. All vehicle expenses are paid by the Company:

  • Insurance
  • Maintenance
  • Fuel


Out of Town Job Assistance

Bergstrom Electric contributes to living expenses (per diem); motel/hotel expenses; vehicle for transportation or fuel allowance (based on individual projects).

Continuing Education Benefit

  • Company sponsored apprenticeship program 
  • Educational classes for license renewal
  • Foreman training seminars
  • Project Management training
  • Equipment training (large and small)
  • CPR/1st Aid training

Vacation Benefit

Paid vacations for eligible Employee-Owners:

  • One Week after one year
  • Two weeks after two years
  • Three weeks after fifteen years

Paid Holiday Benefit

Six paid days per year after one year of employment.

401k Retirement Benefit

Company contributes $.50 for every dollar that an Employee/Owners contributes up to 5% after six months of employment.

Safety Training Benefit

  • Bergstrom Electric is committed to providing a safe working environment for all Employee/Owners. Each individual receives an average of sixteen hours of safety training yearly.

Company Sponsored Events

Annual Appreciation Party, Family Picnics, Golf Outings, ATV Trips, Fishing Trips, Motorcycle Rides and many other company sponsored events

Bergstrom Electric attempts

To provide a minimum of 40 hours per week .

provide year-round employment at a location close to your home. At times travel might be required, but some type of compensation is provided if this happens.

Applications must be completed in the main office of Bergstrom Electric, Inc. located at 3100 North Washington Street in Grand Forks, North Dakota or at our Fargo, ND, Devils Lake, ND, or Bismarck, ND offices.

 

Applicants who can work immediately and will be available for the duration of project will be given preference.

 

Hiring will be determined upon a personal interview and position availability. An offer of employment is contingent upon the applicant passing a drug screening.
