IRET Corporate Plaza Project Wins 2009 ABC Award
The Minnesota Associated Builders and Contractors awarded Bergstrom Electric an "Eagle Award" at its annual awards banquet in January of 2010 for its work on the IRET Corporate Plaza project in Minot, ND. Steve Wasvick, Bergstrom's Project Manager for the IRET project, received the award on behalf of the team. "The event was a huge success with over 180 people in attendance," noted Robert Heise, President of the Minnesota ABC. "Eighteen separate awards were handed to the very best contractors in our industry, including Bergstrom Electric." The IRET Corporate Plaza project was a unique mix of commercial and residential spaces in a 215,000 square foot, three story building. The total project cost approximately $17 Million and was completed in stages. It took Bergstrom Electric 18,651 manhours to complete the job. Bergstrom's commitment to safety was also recognized as the company received the 2009 Gold S.T.E.P. award. |
