SAFETY

Bergstrom Electric has developed an extensive safety program that provides training and support for all its employees. We provide a safe working environment for our employees and the general public. Our goal is to have all employees return home safe and sound at the end of each work shift.

Bergstrom Electric, Inc. has received the Gold Level S.T.E.P. Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., in recognition of our firm's achievements and on-going efforts in the development of a Safety Program for the past 12 years, with the exception of receiving the Platinum Level in 2004.

Independent Electrical Contractors
Bergstrom Electric, Inc. has received the Grand Achievement award through the Spark Achievement Program developed by National Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Safety Committee for exceptional commitment to safety on the job and dedication to helping maintain and accident free workplace for the past 8 years.

This is achieved by conducting a 4-hour safety orientation with each new employee, where all safety programs are gone over. Each employee receives company supplied personal protective equipment. In addition, Bergstrom Electric conducts “Tool Box Safety Talks” each week on all sites. The employees also receive CPR & First Aid training, and specialty training such as; 10-hour OSHA, heavy equipment training, lockout/tagout training, confined space, fall protection and much more.

Bergstrom Electric maintains a “Drug Free” work place and participates in a random drug test screening program that insures a safe working environment for all.

If you have any further questions about our safety program and would like to learn more, please feel free to give us a call.
